"Leonard Liggio was a scholar, intellectual entrepreneur, and generous human being who serves as an example of how to devote a life to promote the free society." Alex Chafuen
It is with deep regret the Nassau Institute acknowledges the passing of Leonard Liggio.
As the many tributes have said the world has lost a great intellectual that gave his all for the freedom movement.
In the words of Joan Thompson, president of the Nassau Institute, "Leonard reached out from academia to touch the lives of those of us dedicated to individualism and freedom."
He will be missed.
