Mr. Lawrence W. Reed, President of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) was recently in Nassau at the invitation of The Nassau Institute.
He spoke at a special event at the offices of the Institute in the Milton Friedman Room, for sponsors, supporters and special guests. The topic was Liberty and Character.
His presentation focused on three wonderful people, Thomas Clarkson, Fannie Crosby and Sir Nicholas Winton. We are presently preparing the video and hope to get it posted in a week or so.
While here, he also visited Jones Communications to record a show for their television programme, The Platform, where he was interviewed by co-hosts, Mr. Wendall Jones and Mr. Godfrey Eneas. We also hope to get the video from that posted in the near future.
Mr. Reed has also recently released a book with co-author, Professor Burton Folsom entitled A Republic – If We Can Keep It.
Please stay tuned.
